Privacy Policy

AlterOS is a Discord server template tool. This policy explains what data we handle when you sign in, build templates, run the Architectural Audit, or sync a server. We keep things minimal: we store what we need to make the app work and nothing more.

• - Your Discord identity (user ID, username, avatar) from the Discord login.
• - The servers you manage, and their roles, categories, channels, and permission overwrites, only when you open a server or run a sync/audit.
• - Templates you create, including their structure and any names you enter.
• - Theme preference and per-server staff/channel selections saved in your browser.

We use your Discord identity to keep your templates tied to your account, and server data only to render, apply, sync, and audit the servers you choose. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

AlterOS uses the Discord API and a bot you invite. It reads server structure to display and apply templates, and writes only the roles, categories, and channels a template describes. It never sends messages, bans users, or changes anything outside the template you apply. Your Discord session token is held only in your browser for the current session and is never stored on our servers.

AlterOS stores a session cookie from our auth provider to keep you signed in, and uses your browser's local storage for drafts, theme, and per-server staff/channel selections. The provider token is also kept in session storage so the bot can act on your behalf while you are connected. You can clear this data any time from your browser settings; doing so signs you out and removes local drafts.

We rely on Discord (authentication and server data) and a hosted database provider for storing your account and templates. Each acts only on the data needed to provide its part of the service and under its own privacy terms.

Templates and account data are kept until you delete them or your account. Server structure is read on demand and is not retained after a sync or audit completes.

If you are in the EU/EEA you have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. You can delete a template at any time from the app, and delete your account and all associated data by contacting us. We will respond within the timeframe required by law (generally 30 days).
